IFIP Joint Conference :

December 7-8, 2023 : Hyderabad, India

Deadline Extended: June 15, new deadline for Full Research Paper

IFIP was established in 1960 under the patronage of UNESCO as a non-government, non-profit organization with the mission to steward national societies working in the domain of information processing. Marking the 62th anniversary of IFIP, the Working Groups 8.2 and 9.4 are organizing a Joint Working Conference in Hyderabad, India to commemorate IFIP’s mission to “achieve worldwide professional and socially responsible development and application of ICTs.”

These three working groups have traditionally engaged in producing rigorous, relevant, and timely social accounts of technology in their own unique ways. The Joint Working Conference draws upon the synergies among these working groups to discuss, deliberate upon, and critically evaluate the prospective impact of digitalization on work and organizations, with special emphasis on the developing world.
